The Chinese Kakemono to paint - Making your Kakemono:
Paintable kakemonos are works of art of Chinese and Japanese calligraphy. They are made of light fabric (usually silk fabric), calligraphy paper, everything is attached to wood. Paint-it-yourself kakemonos are traditionally used to display quotes, sayings, inspirational messages and poems. Patterns can also be added to paint to create more intricate works of art. Paint-it-yourself kakemonos are a great art activity and can be unique and personalized gifts.
The Kakemono Kit to paint:
This kit consists of a kakemono, a 3ml vial of Indian ink, a Chinese calligraphy brush (goat hair) and a fabric pouch to store it. Ideal for making a gift.
