We sell old Chinese boxes made by the traditional chinese craftsman. All our boxes are restored. Our chinese boxes are finely decorated and painted for some of them. For Chinese designers and artisans, boxes were always more than mere utilitarian items. These containers for Jade jewelry, trinkets and games were often thickly lacquered until their surfaces could be polished and carved.

Our boxes have a museum quality, most of them have an original iron work. Our Chinese antique boxes have traditionally been used to carry a lot of things. Today, our boxes can be used as a side table by placing a glass top over the upper compartment's lid; as well as for storage. One of the most intriguing characteristics of our Chinese boxes, other than the range of materials, is that they are not necessarily rectangular or square like the European boxes. Chinese boxes are often circular, with straight and intricately carved sides.
